Trampoline 03:58
Trampoline Trampoline To where I have been Flown away From where I used to stay War and peace Captain of the wind Sail away From where you used to pray Savin’ up, save the kisses from your empty lips Shout out loud, hurt the wind with your fairy bliss We all make it through We find someone to blame Naked lips Poetry from the beats Ring the bell To the beauty and the hell New York sings Sweet melodies Wasted dreams Sad and crying queen Savin’ up, savin’ kisses from your empty lips Shout out loud, hurt the wind with your fairy bliss We all make it through We find someone to blame Savin’ up, savin’ kisses from your empty lips Shout out loud; hurt the wind with your fairy bliss We all make it through We find someone to blame Right on, now…

River 05:00
River Light up a candle Why do I cry Behind my window I’ll be all right Over my troubles Why did I lie Far from my pillow People get high Every day, every day I find a way to get through You can find, your way A way to share your sorrows You can try, you can try Try to be a better one Every day, every day I should try to love you, But often I just sit and cry ‘Cause tonight the moon Shines bright While this old bottle Runs dry With my dreams You go out tonight Go to the river and wash yourself free You will be fine Every day, every day I find a way to hurt you You can say, you can say You can say the right words You will be, you will be You will be on the right line You can wait, you can wait Wait for another moment In which everything will seem fine ‘Cause tonight the moon Shines bright While this old bottle Runs dry With my dreams You go out tonight Go to the river and wash yourself free You will be fine

Saturday 02:24
Saturday (it’s all right!) Suddenly, I came with you I was all over you Suddenly, you came to me I was sad but free Everything‘s gonna to be fine Someday has to be the right time Cause today is the day, and tonight is the night Saturday, it’s all right! Saturday, it’s all right! Saturday, it’s all right! Yesterday I looked at you And you looked back at me It was too good to be true This could be a dream On the weekend we would stop to fight But I can’t read your mind Don’t waste our precious time Saturday it’s all right! Tonight, I wanna be your lover Hard job, as it may seem We made up easily It’s all gone, as in dreams The band is playin’ softly The light has just come in The sky’s already smiling Saturday has just broke in! I get along with you Well-timed smiles and drinks A flower, it’s in my pocket So glad I wanna sing Everything’s gonna to be fine Someday has to be the right time Cause today is the day, and tonight is the night Saturday it’s all right! Saturday it’s all right! Saturday it’s all right! Come on now Saturday it’s all right! Saturday it’s all right!

Refugee 04:40
Refugee Perfect soldier Will you take your time? Over my shoulder, over myself Please take your time Absolutely, absolutely nothing on your mind What am I doin’ here Every day Rolling over There is a place on the way Dream is over I will lose and I will pray Absolutely, absolutely nothing I will try Roll over my time, when it’s over It’s all shaking, It’s all breaking Roll over my time, when it’s over When it’s breaking when it’s shaking I‘ve done my time Roll over my time, now it’s over It’s all shaken, It’s all broken Roll over my time, it’s not easy To feel safe, when it’s raining I‘ve done my time

Alive 04:10
Alive I’m leaving this town tomorrow I’ve got nothing else to say All my sorrows are bleeding So much trouble on the way All the days I’ve been tumbling Not too many things to do to make more sense The road just leads deep into darkness That’s the edge of my pain Am I alive, today? This is not the way to raise all the issues that we hide This is not the way for us to kiss each other goodbye This is not the way to live This is not the way to give Am I alive, today?

I'm gone 02:54
I'm gone You say, you want to be rich You maybe stay out of reach This dream, so happy alone I can feel the sound of my soul I’m gone To where, you know From my hand hangs a rope There’s a house on the hill, it’s a mess, it’s a place I call home You say, you want to be right An end is always in sight Shady places often are fine To find some words through the rhymes I’m gone Lost dreams of our own Over there, we still stroll I am running down this road, it’s a mess, heading into the fall

Dynamite 04:04
Dynamite How about you Dynamite, Where have you gone? Why am I not seeing you Running on the shore? Where are your hopes? The ones that made you great Once you were the scary one Now you’re afraid Oo-ooh you knew luxury But not a girl Down on the docks, there was a fight, I heard There was no sun and you were there There was no sun and you were there How about your end Dynamite? You used to drive so fast You used to take a walk you even used to cry Where are your dreams That turned into reality You weren’t scared of anything Now you’ve escaped Oo-ooh you knew luxury But not a girl Down on the docks, there was a fight, I heard There was no sun and you were there There was no sun and you were there There was no sun and you were there

Hope 04:06
Hope Ahhh, I feel so sore Alone, or not We are here to knock But we are stuck In this field of memories My release Hope, hope, neverending hope It shows that you’re not The things that you forgot But all I see, it’s that this century Belongs to me (No way, babe, no way) Booze, after your sleep Now you’re awake, insane We’re so rucked, smacked Everything is packed Raped!!! Hope, hope, neverending hope It shows that you’re not The things that you forgot But all I see, it’s that this century Belongs to me (No way, babe, no way)

about

The great Travelin’ Band presents their third album MURKY: stunning and fascinating.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A luxury production by the “architect of sound” Sergio Devece: Americana, rock'n'roll, powerpop and a touch of punk come together in MURKY.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Murky is the most ambitious work by the Valencian combo The Great Travelin’ Band. The groundbreaking album of the band has the collaboration of influential musicians from Valencia.

“Murky has the flavor of my musical education”, states Giuseppe Caprara, the Italian behind the Travelins who is also the author of all the songs.

Listening to the songs, lots of distant references appear, such as My Morning Jackets (on RIVER, for example), Peter Murphy (DYNAMITE), The Cramps (on HOPE) or even an “outdated Johnny Marr” – a quote from Sergio Devece – that magically appears on the track TRAMPOLINE, which opens the album.

"Sergio Devece's production is "superior" and he is the person we are most comfortable working with" - continues Caprara - "After passing through La Fabrique, the recording studio in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, France, where he spent few weeks whit the guru Steve Albini, his production is illuminating, inspiring and extremely rock. In addition, he is a person with a huge heart and that fits with the philosophy of the Travelins”.

The compositions, lyrics and arrangements are all original, and they stand out for dealing with deep themes such as the dialogue between a sniper and his victim in REFUGEE or the farewell to earthly life (ALIVE and I'M GONE).

On the album, Giuseppe Caprara has also taken care of the guitars, assisted by Claudio Auvieux on drums and Pepe Baeza on bass. “It was just with Claudio that we created The Great Travelin’ Band in Valencia”, says Caprara.

The album features prestigious collaborations, such as Ricardo Gener (The Go! Freaks, Los Fabulosos Blueshakers, on steel guitar), "Harmonica George" Gener (Los Fabulosos Blueshakers, Lazy Tones) and the pianist Gabriele del Vecchio (Los Perros del Boogie, Lazy Tones). Also, Nacho Nácher (Perro Grande, La Muñeca de Sal) is in the guest list: known in the city for his magic with guitar effects, he is the master of the northern lights that can be heard on HOPE, the song that closes the album.

“Making original music is a privilege nowadays, giving that art and performances tremble facing the suffering that we are experiencing in our society. In the last two years we have had to deal with the loss of many loved ones and our hopes suddenly turned dim. Relationships have changed, we have lost our innocence and we have gained negative feelings. Defiance, and worse, hate or evil, make their way. I don't want this for anyone in this world. I like to think that we live in an incredible place and that every day can be better. The artists are part of this change, we have to keep playing, join our voices and every day with more heart”.

The great Travelin’ Band is available for booking and also for acoustic sets.

about

The great Travelin' Band Valencia, Spain

TGTB is a 100% original independent rock band.
They started out in 2002 in the Pub Rock tradition, being the only band on the local scene that managed to effectively pull off an explosive mix of early r'n'r, swing, soul and r'n'b in an original project.
In the recently released 3rd album MURKY, produced Sergio Devece, the band's sound has evolved towards more modern rock sounds.
